Your safari begins after breakfast with a briefing from your professional safari guide before departing Arusha for Tarangire National Park. The scenic drive takes you through Maasai villages, rolling savannahs, and landscapes dotted with iconic baobab trees. Known for its enormous elephant herds and ancient baobabs, Tarangire offers exceptional wildlife viewing. During your afternoon game drive, keep an eye out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 550 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your adventure until sunset.

Depending on the season, your route may pass through the wildlife-rich Ndutu area before arriving at your campsite.

Early morning is when predators are most active, providing excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. Spend the day exploring different regions of the Serengeti, searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, and—if travelling during migration season—the spectacular Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.

The crater offers one of the best opportunities to spot the Big Five in a single day, alongside hippos, hyenas, flamingos, jackals, and countless other wildlife species.
